Justice within Islamic law rests on Quranic imperatives that shape human dignity and fairness. Pakistan’s Article 227 illustrates this connection by tying legislation to Islamic Injunctions. This study examines how these imperatives relate to human values within constitutional systems. It aims to identify gaps in current scholarship and propose a coherent legal framework. The research uses a qualitative design, applying doctrinal analysis and document analysis throughout. Data comes from official constitutional texts and peer-reviewed scholarly literature. Findings show that Quranic justice functions as a binding legal command, not merely symbolic language. Existing scholarship still remains fragmented across narrow sectors, limiting unified constitutional understanding. Implementation faces challenges including interpretive disagreement and inconsistent judicial reasoning across cases. The study recommends clearer interpretive guidelines and a constitutional amendment linking Quranic justice to fundamental rights enforcement. These findings offer practical value for lawmakers, courts, and policymakers addressing similar constitutional questions across Muslim-majority systems today.
